In the YANESEN calligraphy classroom deepen your understanding of Japanese culture. The everyday use of brushes has almost disappeared. We hope you will calm your mind by experiencing this ancient Japanese tradition.

Notes
-We will send you a SQUARE invoice mail for payment as soon as your preferred experience program and date and time are confirmed. Please make the payment.

If canceled after 17:00 Tokyo local time, 2 days before the your reserved date and time, 100% of the total price (tax included) will be charged.-The reservation will be confirmed after payment is completed.
Explanation of brush, paperweight, Sumi(ink), Suzuri(ink well), Hanshi(thin paper). We explain how to hold and care for a brush before you write.
Practice some very basic strokes that form Japanese Kanji (Characters) : Vertical, horizontal, diagonal and more.
Practice copying example kanji.
Choose your favorite kanji (Character) and practice.
Hands-on experience to write beautifully by yourself.
Write your favorite word on shikishi. The instractor apply your wote by Rakkan (traditional stamp) to complete.
As a parting gift receive a card in Kanji, for your gift, for yourself, we translate to Kanji fyour name, family name, favarate word...as you like. by our professional calligrapher.
